Hoop Shot VR is a virtual reality basketball game that adds a new level of quirk to shooting hoops. Make those cartoon cheerleaders cheer as you sink three pointer after three pointer.

A Time Sink

While Shoot Hoops in VR isn't the most versatile experience, it can certainly eat up a surprising amount of your time. Your virtual reality setting is a gymnasium, complete with bleachers, cheerleaders, and even a jumbo screen. At its heart, the game is simply a free throwing simulator. Take your shots and try to get them through the hoop. The environment adds a little to the experience, and it's nice to see the cheerleaders celebrate your shots... even if they do look a little under cooked graphically. There is a little more to keep you entertained, however, such as having the hoop move around for added shot difficulty.

Good Value For Money

Ultimately, despite the bells and whistles, the aim of the game is just to score hoops. Once you get tired of sinking the ball, you're tired of the game. Graphically the environment is fine but the characters are a bit rough around the edges. All that being said, the game is extremely cheap, so it's hard to argue that it's not worth your money.
